Bryan McCall

Bio

Coach McCall has gained recognition as one of the top high school football assistants in the state. In 2023, he earned Sports in Kansas Assistant Coach of the Year as defensive coordinator, helping lead Gardner Edgerton to its first-ever 6A state championship with a dominant defense that allowed just 8.8 points per game.

In 2024, he transitioned to offensive coordinator and repeated as Sports in Kansas 6A/5A/4A Assistant Coach of the Year, a rare back-to-back honor. McCall has also been recognized at the prestigious Frank Broyles Awards as Kansas’s top high school assistant coach. He has additionally assisted with the school’s girls wrestling program.

Known for his football intelligence and versatility on both sides of the ball, McCall continues to play a key role in Gardner Edgerton’s athletic success while teaching PE/Health.
