Drew Brown

Bio

Coach Brown is entering his 9th season at Gardner Edgerton High School, and 16th year coaching high school football. Coach Brown currently works with our offensive line, and has also coached slots, and defensive line during his time at GEHS. Coach Brown grew up in Blue Springs, MO, where he was on a state championship team in 2001. He continued his football playing career at Pittsburg State University where he started all four years at center, earning All Conference and All American honors.

Coach Brown's wife Amanda, is the most supportive coach's wife you can find. You'll find her at every game cheering on the boys, and she is always willing to throw a last second meal together to feed the offensive lineman. Coach Brown has two children, Tucker (15) and Rayah (10). Tucker is a Sophomore at GEHS where he plays football, baseball, and is a member of the Blazer powerlifting team. Rayah is in 5th grade at Pioneer Ridge Middle school and is involved in volleyball, soccer, basketball, and softball.

In the rare events that Coach Brown has free time, you'll find him and his family near a river somewhere, listening to country music, and fishing. His favorite spots are on the White River in AR, and floating the Niangua River in central MO. Coach Brown has two dogs, Coco and Buffy, five chickens, three ducks, and his Wife has a cat named Brisket.
