Josh Carroll

Bio

Coach Josh Carroll is entering his second season with Gardner Edgerton Football and brings 18 years of coaching experience to the program. Prior to joining Gardner Edgerton, he coached at Olathe North High School, where he held a variety of roles including Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Running Backs, and Special Teams.

In addition to football, Coach Carroll served as the Head Wrestling Coach at Olathe North for 14 seasons. During his tenure, his teams earned five state wrestling trophies, highlighted by a Team State Championship in 2018.

A graduate of Olathe North High School, Coach Carroll went on to wrestle at Appalachian State University, where he became a conference champion and qualified for the NCAA Division I National Tournament.

Coach Carroll currently teaches Physical Education at Gardner Edgerton High School alongside his wife, Marissa, a health teacher at the school. They have three children Xavier, Jade, and Skye. He is committed to developing student athletes both on and off the field, emphasizing discipline, accountability, and personal growth.
