Kyle Rush

Bio

Kyle Rush is the Linebackers Coach and has been coaching Football at GEHS since 2019. Before that he coached 4 years at Wheatridge middle school. He also coaches 7th Grade Basketball at Wms and has been on staff there for 9 seasons. For 12 Years he has been the P.E. teacher at Gardner Elementary School.

Coach Rush went to high school at Wellsville he played running back and cornerback. He got his bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University. In 2014 he married his wife Shae and she is a nurse at Children's Mercy. They have 4 Daughters Ember (10), Haven (8), Nova (6) and Iris (5). When not on the field he enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.

Coach Rush loves teaching and coaching! He believes football is the ultimate team sport and instills a sense of accountability, mental toughness and selflessness that extend far beyond the field. It helps build better Fathers, Husbands and creates an understanding of the true value of teamwork.
