Sean Fisher

Bio

Sean Fisher enters his fifth season at Gardner‑Edgerton High School as the Freshman Defensive Coordinator and assistant for tech and video. He previously spent six years coaching Trailblazer junior football through KCFC and served on the GEHS basketball staff from 2022–2024.

He graduated from Grain Valley High School where he was a four‑year varsity football letterman and earned multiple conference honors: three years as a first‑team defensive back, two years as an all‑conference quarterback, and three years as an all‑conference punter, including all‑state recognition as a punter. He was also a three‑year basketball letterman with three all‑conference selections and a three‑year all‑conference track and field athlete, highlighted by a runner up on the 4x100 relay. He continued his playing career at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO, competing in the rigorous MIAA conference.

Coach Fisher is dedicated to developing student‑athletes on and off the field—preparing them to be leaders in their communities, husbands, and fathers. He and his wife Carrie have been married more than 20 years and have three children: Griffyn (15), Creed (13), and Embree (10). In his free time he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending time with his family.
